Century Auto Parts was a school project based on the idea of combining two very different things into a cohesive brand. I chose motorcycle repair and rococo design.
I wanted to bring the elegance of traditional rococo design to a typically very masculine market. I wanted to completely reimagine the typical buyer for motorcycle parts to create a brand that speaks to people that are underserved in that industry.
The name Century is motorgang slang for going one hundred miles per hour, as well as a reference to the past centuries of the rococo era. The design on the boxes are a mix of traditional patterns with tools, screws, bike chains, and wrenches.
